Busy Busy Busy

BUSY! That seems to be the word of the week! Last Thursday (19th), Jackson had his first taste of cereal. He was really amused at first, as he slammed his hands on his highchair...almost as if he knew what was coming. Well, it was interesting, and I don't think he liked it very much. This is a learning process for both Al and I, and for Jackson! Here are a few pictures of the morning.

Hum, this should be fun!

Jackson's first bite

Okay, that wasn't toooo bad. Do I get more?

ACK! This stuff is yucky!

You mean, you want me to eat this?

The first cereal was eventful to say the least :)

This morning we tried oatmeal. he still got frustrated bt the end, but he seamed to like it much better than the cereal. He was at least opening his mouth for it, evn if he still made the funny faces.

I still think he would prefer to eat his bib...or his hands for that matter!

Also, guess who has been nappig in his crib some :) It's not for every nap, but we're making progress here :)

Saturday, a friend of mine took a few pictures of Jackson for our Christmas cards...

Go here to see the rest (8 of them).

We had a great time at the game Saturday. A few friends came in town that we haven't seen in a while, and it was great to see everyone! Grandma and Grandpa Anderson watched Jackson Saturday while we went to the game. I'm sure Grandma had him laughing out load. I'm not sure what it is about his Grandma and Grammy, but man can they get that little guy to laugh!

We can't wait to spend some time with the family on Thursday! We wish we could see Nathan and Leila, but I guess we'll have to share them with he family too :) At least we'll be able to see them for Christmas...just a little under 5 weeks away. Ahh...that reminds me...I've got some shopping to do :)

  1. James would never eat rice cereal, only oatmeal. Mix it with applesauce baby food to start with. The Christmas pictures are so cute!
